Gains has been used over the years across the herd and has produced some of the best breeding cows in the Lodge Herd.  As a result a large number of the cows have Ronick Gains somewhere in their pedigree.

Olympus has been used successfully with two daughters Lodge Viola and Lodge Angel being retained in the herd.

One Major daughter has been retained in the herd - Lodge Adagio whose two calves to date have been very shapy.

Dam: Bailea Izbicki by Greensons Gigolo

Olympia was the highest priced Limousin bull sold in the UK in 2000 (14,000gns). Bailea Izbicki was also dam of Bailea Andre that sold for 16,000gns in February 2007. We have two Bailea Olympia daughters in the herd, Lodge Annabelle and Lodge Actress.

Dam: Issue

Saphir is a son of Jacot, the sire of many well-known bulls with tremendous muscling and confirmation.  Saphir is half brother to Requin, Rocky, Paul and Rossignol.  We have used Saphir with the main purpose to introduce this Jacot blood into the Lodge herd.

We have sold sons to a top of 7,000gns for Lodge Dannyboy (out of Lodge Tania), who was sold at Stirling in October 2009.  We also have a number of shapely Saphir heifers that we are planning to retain in the herd.

Rocky was topped the BLCS calf registration sire table in 2007 and 2008.

Rocky is a son of Jacot, the sire of many well-known bulls with tremendous muscling and confirmation.  Rocky is half brother to Requin, Paul, Saphir and Rossignol.  Like Saphir we have used Rocky with the main aim to introduce this Jacot blood into the Lodge herd.

We have a lovely Rocky heifer - Lodge Diamond who will probably be included in our showteam for 2010.

Haltcliffe Vermount was sold in Carlisle in 2006 for a record breaking price of 100,000gns.

We have used him as we liked his great confirmation, muscling and perfect top line.
